WOD:
Back Squat 5 x 5 x 125kg
Overhead Press 5 x 5 x 61kg
Back Squats still feel great, missed the last rep of my second set of presses. I know the miss was due to a breakdown in form, so I should be able to move up again after next week.
Nutrition:
8:30am: 4oz Salami, 4oz Gouda. 2tbsp Cashew/Macadamia Nut Butter.
12:00pm: Spaghetti Squash Carbonara (Spaghetti Squash, Hot Italian Sausage, Olive Oil, garlic, parsley, eggs).
3:30pm: 8oz Roasted Chicken Breast. 8oz Guacamole. Romaine Lettuce. 2 Oranges.
I doubled the spaghetti squash on this batch, which made it much better. I guess I never posted the recipe for it, here it is:
Spaghetti Squash Carbonara:
2 Spaghetti Squashes
1.25lbs Hot Italian Sausage
Olive Oil
Garlic
Parsley
Eggs
Red Pepper Flakes
Cut Spaghetti Squash in half and place face down in baking dish, bake for ~40min @ 350 degrees. Heat Olive Oil in saucepan (add as much as you need to fufill block requirements) add sausage, cook until browning. Add Garlic, cook some more. In a bowl, wisk Eggs (number will differ depending on how much squash you use) together with parsley and red pepper. Scoop out Squash into saucepan, and then add egg/spice mixture, cook until eggs set.
