My intentions for this blog are to keep track of my workouts, body composition, and diet. I am currently experimenting with the Metabolic Diet, this is my first week of the strict 30g carb/day phase. The composition of my diet is dictated predominantly by the paleo diet, which consists primarily of meat, fruits, vegetables, and nuts. I am also intermittent fasting, with my fast starting usually around 8pm and ending at 11am. I usually started my fast around 1pm and finished at 5am. I have had trouble sleeping recently, and am experimenting with a different fast time to see if that was the problem. My workout schedule is as follows:

MWF - Metabolic conditioning (mixed modal, CrossFit style)
TR - Maximal Effort (usually 7 sets of 1-3 reps, major lifts only)

My intentions here are to attempt to put on some lean mass while increasing strength and skill level of the major lifts.
