Day 4, Restless Night = More Coffee Please!

WOD:

Skill Practice:

Front Lever: Still only able to hold tucked position with a rigid spine, but am able to hold it longer (got a good coaching tip from Dave about how to engage lats better, and how the involve pecs too)
Handstand Walking: Worked on getting stable before walking, and then reaching out and pulling myself forward instead of falling forward and catching myself with my hand. Tried turning around while inverted too, still not very good at it.
Planche: Made no progress, still feels impossible to just hold tucked position, even with a band.
Parallel Bar Body Swings: New to me. Jump to Support, then swing your body forward and backwards with your shoulders as point of rotation. Body should be rigid plank. Felt cool, able to swing up close to parallel to floor in both directions. You really have to lean forward of your hands when you swing backwards or else your center of gravity ends up too far behind your hands to be able to control it.

Nutrition:

07:00: 16oz 4-shot Americano.

15:45: 6oz Chicken, 7oz Cabbage, 1oz Slivered Almonds, 1oz Sesame Seeds, Cashew/Macadamia Nut Butter Dressing.

21:00: 2 Beef Kabobs, ~3/4 Bone-in Chicken Breast. 1cup Potato Salad.

21:00 - 23:00:
3 Beers.

Sleep: 23:30 - 06:30

Woke up several times during the night, had a hard time falling back asleep. Was it the Mexican food perhaps?
