Thursday, August 23rd

WOD:

Deadlift 3 x 5 x 135kg

Tried using alternating grip instead of double overhand to see if it would be any easier... it was. I still lost some significant core tension on the last 2 reps of my 3rd set. I'm wondering if I need to back down on the weight, because I certainly don't want to train in the habit of lifting with a noodley (new word!) core. Hmmm...

Also, I was so wasted after the Deadlifts that I barely made 1 x 5 x 75kg of Push Press, so I decided not to try the second 2 sets. I'm wondering if I should Push Press before I Deadlift, since Deadlifting takes soooo much out of me. Hmmm...

Nutrition:

11:30am: 8oz Rotisserie Chicken. 2oz Macadamia Nuts. 1 Nectarine.

4:30pm: 8oz Rotisserie Chicken. 1 Avocado. 1 Peach.

8:30pm: 1can Coconut Milk, 3cups Berries, 2scoops Egg Protein (42g Protein).
